The U.S.Department of Commerce (DOC) Western Region Security Office (WRSO) provides security services to DOC clients in the twenty four Western States, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Montana, Hawaii, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana,and the nine Pacific Trust Territories (Guam, American Samoa and the Pacific Rim).

Our Department of Commerce clients include:

• Economic Development Administration
• International Trade Administration
• Minority Business Development Agency
• National Institute of Standards and Technology
• National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration
  
• National Telecommunications & information Administration

The WRSO conducts Anti-Terrorism Risk Assessments (ATRA or Physical Security Assessments) for the clients in our region. We also provide assistance in the areas of Personnel Security, General Physical Security, Foreign National Visits, Construction and COOP/OEPs.
